The Wellness Reboot: A Holistic Approach to Sustainable Health for Introverts.
The Wellness Reboot was founded on the principle that true health can't be achieved through a 'one size fits all' approach. While the foundations of health remain consistent, everyone lives a different life, and what impacts one person may not resonate with another.
During the aftermath of significant loss and the period of isolation and reflection immediately after, our director and fellow (anxious) introvert, realised the power of empathy and the importance of supporting those who often feel unseen and unheard.
We acknowledge that some of us may require assistance from various health disciplines to thrive in our surroundings. Nowadays, we're faced with obstacles that can be overwhelming.
Do we blame ourselves too much for things beyond our control?
How much energy do we waste fixating on the uncertain future, or on people who refuse to meet our expectations?
Do we continue to surround ourselves with people and things that no longer benefit us, just to maintain harmony or avoid discomfort?
The solution is more than 'positive thinking' or 'manifesting your ideal life' – such advice has become cliché and is often offered without sincere concern for the full spectrum of one's wellbeing. To develop a wellness practice, we must first have the right mindset.
It's a challenging cycle.
